Outstanding Olhos D'Agua Holidays

Olhos D'Agua is a haven of peaceful beaches and shady palm trees in the heart of the Algarve.

Situated between the bustling hotspots of Albufeira and Vilamoura, Olhos D'Agua holidays are ideal for families who want a relaxing break away from – but within easy reach of – the more crowded resorts. This sleepy fishing village has some of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve found just a hop, skip and jump away. It's got its own stretch of sand too, one that’s dotted with local fishermen's boats and boasting a beautiful backdrop of tree-topped cliffs to marvel at.

Family Fun

The village is a small cluster of shops, restaurants and villas easily explored on foot. The main street runs through the centre of town right down to the waterfront. The beach runs along the length of the town and has a promenade lined with palm trees and excellent places to eat, drink or watch the world go by. The biggest accommodation complexes for Olhos D'Agua holidays are off to the east of the main village, while closer to town there is an array of small guesthouses and villas, all of which are within easy access of the beach and the best of the town's amenities.

Coastal Craic

At just 34km from the airport and with a flight time of just three hours, you can leave wet and windy Ireland behind in the morning and arrive for your balmy, bright Olhos D'Agua holiday by early afternoon. The town is a favourite holiday spot for Portugeuse families, and nobody knows the best places like the locals do, so take their word for it!

Olhos D'Agua makes a great base for exploring the surrounding beauty of the Algarve. The best way to go about this is by hiring a car and travelling at your own pace; since the town is much less crowded than the bigger resorts nearby, parking and getting in and out of the area is a breeze.

The town is very much a quiet, laid-back kind of place; chilling out is the name of the game here. Sit in the sunshine and dine on some succulent local fare like delicious Piri-Piri chicken as you watch the fishermen go about their business. If you want some livelier entertainment, never fear, the buzzing nightlife of Albufeira and Vilamoura is just 6km away.
